Unfortunately due to the fragile nature of our candles, change-of-mind returns are not accepted. Refunds will only be offered for damage product. If you received a broken candle or we've stuffed up and sent you the wrong candle, send us an email hello@goldendaze.com.au and we'll get it sorted asap.

We ship all around Australia. Unfortunately, we are not set up to send internationally at this stage. Shipping will take 3-7 days from dispatch depending on location. For a perfect, smooth burn, you need to set the candles 'memory' on the first burn. I know, wtf? But stick with me. On the first burn, let the wax melt all the way to the edge of the jar, it’s the secret to avoiding those annoying wax tunnels. For both our large and medium candles this will mean burning for a minimum of 2 hours on the first burn. So whatever you do, don't light the candle if you know you're heading out soon. After 3–4 hours, it’s time to chill and give your candle a break. Overheating just kills the vibe (and the scent).

A short wick means less soot, a steady flame and a long-lasting candle. Because our candles are all wood wick, it's super easy to do. Before lighting, just knock the black burnt bits off into the bin.

If the flame’s struggling, pour out some liquid wax and relight it. Low flames are usually a sign the wick needs some love, so keep it trimmed, and you’ll be good to go. If you're having the issue often, reach out via hello@goldendaze.com.au or DM us on insta and we can help you out.
